You can ask ARCR Technologies Private Limited to delete the personal data we hold about you. This page explains how, what gets deleted and how long it takes. It covers data collected through our website and application, and data we receive through Meta’s platforms (WhatsApp Business Platform and Facebook Login).
Option 1: Delete from inside the application
If you are an administrator of a business workspace you can delete your customers’ data yourself:
- Sign in and open Contacts.
- Select one or more contacts and choose Delete. This permanently removes the contact, their conversations, messages and media from the workspace.
- To remove a team member’s access, open Settings → Team & roles and remove the member.
To delete your own user account or an entire workspace, email us using Option 2; we complete these requests manually to make sure billing records are closed correctly.
Option 2: Email us
Send a request to admin@arcrtech.com with the subject “Data deletion request” and include:
- your name and the email address or WhatsApp phone number the data relates to;
- the business or workspace you interacted with, if you know it;
- whether you want everything deleted or only specific data.
We may ask you to confirm the request from the email address or phone number concerned so that we do not delete someone else’s data.
Option 3: Disconnect from Meta
If you connected a WhatsApp Business Account or signed in with a Meta account, you can also remove our app from your Meta settings:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites (or Business Settings → Integrations → Apps for a business portfolio).
- Find ARCR Technologies Pvt Ltd and choose Remove.
Removing the app revokes our access to your Meta assets. To have the data we already hold deleted as well, send us a request using Option 2 and mention that you removed the app.
If you are a customer of a business that uses our platform
The business you messaged on WhatsApp is the controller of your data. Please contact that business first; it can delete your contact record and conversation from its workspace. If you cannot reach the business, email us and we will help.
What happens next
Within 3 business days we acknowledge your request and give you a reference number.
Within 30 days we delete the data from our live systems, and from backups within a further 30 days.
We keep only what the law requires us to retain, such as invoices for tax purposes, and anonymised statistics that no longer identify you.
